Civil Architecture: The inside spaces are organized around three court yards; the first one is limited with arcs it the two story and the monumental stairs are initiated with a double arch

Museums: In the archeological hall you'll find mainly purepecha's ceramics, sculpture and ironwork, in the army hall you can see different pistols, armors, sables, and riffles used by the insurgents; the colony hall exhibits paintings from the XVIII century

Paintings and murals: In the stairs' walls there is a mural painted by Alfredo Zalce in 1953
